Yes, if you’re being bullied continuously for a long period of time, you should immediately go to the police. It also depends on you whether you want to address the problem to the police or not.

It is really horrifying if someone is being bullied online as it may harm that person mentally, physically, and emotionally. Hence, no one should tolerate this shameful act. Somany laws and organizations are working 24*7 to fight against cyberbullying. You can visit their websites and seek assistance from them.The victims of cyberbullyingcan also talk anonymously via helpline numbers available on these websites.

However, one should start talking about the same problem from their home itself. They can talk to their parents, elders, and teachers too.
You should notify your parents, and then you can go to the police if you’re being bullied continuously. Always remember, you should always speak up about bullying.

Bullying whether it is online or in person, should be addressed by either the teacher or authorities depending on the severity of the bullying. Also, the length of the bullying depends on if you should go to the police. If the bullying has been going on for a long time, then the police should be called. Parents, teachers and principals should first be notified about the bullying or cyberbullying if it is taking place between students.

In the United States, the schools are required to get involved in cyberbullying even though the bullying is taken place outside of school hours and outside of the school building. Therefore, the school should be notified first. After that, the police should be notified if it continues or the bullying is threatening.
