What organization is OSHA's sister agency that focuses on research and training and also conducts Health Hazard Evaluations?

The organization that is considered OSHA’s sister agency is the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), it is the only federal agency in the United States responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of possible work related injury and illness.

It promotes safe and healthy workplaces through interventions, recommendations and capacity building. The agency also conducts Health Hazard Evaluations (HHEs).

It is considered a sister agency to OSHA, since both agencies were created by passage of the Occupational Safety and Health Act.
