The nurse will tell the patient to do bed rest. The reason why this is the most obvious solution is that the condition can cause bleeding. At times, the bleeding can become too profuse that it will already be bad for the patient and the baby. It is best that the mother will do bed rest and will only do limited activity.

If in case the mother detects bleeding, the mother should be brought to the hospital immediately so that urgent care will be given regarding the situation. Take note that mothers who are doing bed rest can only sit or stand when it is already absolutely necessary. This can become problematic for some women who are always on the go.
